Contest Details
As promised here are the details for The Style House summer contest: This is your opportunity to test drive the entire new collection of six OPI Matte lacquers (value of $10.95 each). Tip: To maintain the matte finish refrain from using base coat, top coat or drying drops. Some also advise against using hand lotion, but better a little shine than alligator skin…
Simply send a comment that includes your name and email address (will not be posted) for a chance to be selected at random. Contest closes this Friday, August 7th.

As a lover of all things green I am especially intrigued by Gargantuan Green Grape.

I tried La Paz-itively Hot, but meh. The darker shades call to me though, and look so good in the ads (of course). And the green? Maybe better in the bottle?

Oh la la! I want to try these!! Especially because i missed out on the not-matte “You Don’t Know Jacques”…How intriguing! What will they think of next? Perhaps a matte-gloss hybrid (is that possible :S)!

All the colours that I love to wear especially Russian Navy.
I have always preferred matte photo finish to high gloss…understated is way more sophisticated. Give me matte - quick before winter comes and I have to slather on handcreme by the second.

Noway, I had green nails last week and you wouldn’t believe the amount of compliments I got. It matches with a surprising number of outfits and makes watching your fingers type away all day just a little more exciting. Not to mention all my friends were green with envy (too cheesy?)

Thanks for this great contest! Love OPI! Also thanks for the tip about maintaining a Matte finish. For some reason that would not have occured to me
these colours will be great for the fall and winter…especially when combined in a two-tone diagonal stripe or a darker tip!
I can’t decide how I feel about matte polish, but there’s no better way to make up my mind than trying these out! I imagine the darker colours would look fine, but I don’t know about the white, pink and green… yikes.
Ooh, these look fab. The navy one takes me back to the mid-90s when I wore navy polish in high school. But it wasn’t matte, I’d love to try matte navy. Love the mid-tone brown too. Thanks for the contest!
