Yesterday I appeared on Steven & Chris (CBC) to chat about stylish ways to stay warm during the winter. Specifically, the guys wanted to see innovative solutions and products to help us stay cozy while looking chic. As winter gear can be pricey, I began my search at Joe Fresh as I wanted to include affordable pieces to amp up the looks. They had a great assortment of accessories, like the silver foil scarf that Nahanni modelled and packable lightweight puffer coat as seen on Tricia. Among some of the interesting finds were YakTrax, a grip system that fits on the bottom of shoes (including heels) to help with traction in winter conditions. I had also sent a note out to Tommy Hilfiger PR to see if they had anything cool on tap – did they ever! A solar panelled coat, worn by Edwin, that can charge smartphones. Whaaaat! It was a fun segment, that involved some tricky navigation as the models had to 'delayer' on air, I think it came together well, what do you think? You can watch the segment here.
What I Wore: Ted Baker dress, Secret tights, Sandro heels.
