Born in Boston, Massachusetts, and trained at Boston Ballet School and The School of The Hamburg Ballet, Dylan joined The National Ballet of Canada as a RBC Apprentice in 2009, joined the Corps de Ballet in 2010 and was promoted to Second Soloist in 2013.
Boasting an amazing repertoire that includes the role of the White Rabbit in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Stanislav in Nijinsky, Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, as well as lead roles in Theme and Variations and Mozartiana, Dylan has also performed in, a few productions you may have heard of, such as The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Hamlet, Carmen, the second detail, West Side Story Suite, Chroma and Russian Seasons.
This summer, Dylan will dance in the National Ballet’s mixed programme, Physical Thinking, as well as Cinderella by James Kudelka and Romeo and Juliet by Alexei Ratmansky.
The National Ballet’s Summer Season runs May 28 – June 22, 2014 at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.
