Do you prefer to dress for an occasion or for everyday?

I enjoy dressing for special occasions because it gives me the opportunity to wear more extravagant pieces, but I do prefer dressing for everyday. It's a fun challenge to keep my style interesting but taking pieces that I wear all the time and styling them differently.

Would you rather be overdressed or underdressed?

I'm a firm believer in being overdressed. I recently wore a tuxedo jacket to do some work at the library. There's nothing wrong with looking inappropriately amazing.

Do you have a signature style or do you prefer to keep 'em guessing?

I've been wearing collared button down shirts exclusively since my drastic haircut last year left my neck feeling strangely naked. Throw in a bright cardigan or pair of pants and loafers and  voila – it's my signature style, which is best described as "flamboyant young professional."

Your all time favourite outfits:

My all-time favourite outfit is from the shoot that Sharon and I did for the Backseat Stylers feature in the November 2011 issue of FASHION magazine. I went on a panicked shopping spree two days before the shoot and ended up with a Zara tuxedo jacket (the same one I recently wore to the library), Zara silk blouse with gold metal collar tips, and a fuschia rose print skirt form J.Crew. As for shoe, I wore Rag & Bone Everest heel  my most extravagant purchase to date.

Your top three celeb style moments:

1.  I love everything that Cate Blanchett wears but she looked especially breathtaking in Givenchy at the 2011 Academy Awards.

2. Michelle Williams donned a more casual look but was still perfectly stunning in Louis Vuitton at the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards.

3. As for my third favourite celeb style moment, I remember being completely mesmerized by Lady Gaga in her music video for Bad Romance. I've watched the video at least ten times now, and I will never get bored of it.

What would you buy with an unexpected windfall?

I would buy several Mary Katrantzou dresses. Then, I would go to The Room at the Bay and buy all the clothes on the mannequins; they are always incredible.

Heels or flats?

I prefer to wear flats but generally speaking, I think heels are more beautiful.

Will you suffer for fashion or should it be comfortable? Is there an occasion that you will break this rule?

I think that fashion is supposed to be fun, but if you're in  an uncomfortable outfit chances are you aren't having much fun. However, I will suffer for fashion if an outfit calls for heels. Looking spectacular can definitely make up for discomfort.

Always stylish or does even fashion need yo take a break? Any exceptions?

I agree with the saying that you should always look good because you never know who you might run into. The only exception to the rule should be at home where you can wear your "fat pants" (as Jimmy Kimmel said at [2012] Emmy Awards) in privacy.

Team Anna (Wintour) or Team Carine (Roitfeld)?

Anna Wintour and Carine Roitfeld are both brilliant women!
