Okay, so I'm not the best at updating my media page but I did want to share this lovely segment I taped with The Morning Show. Four beautiful women at various stages of pregnancy made the best models to showcase the hottest maternity looks of the season. Having had two kids myself, I was happy to work with Old Navy as they were a great source for me during my pregnancies – and have amped up their game since.
Caffery Von Horne my awesome hairstylist – and one of my favourite people – met me early to work on my coif (Anything good that happens to my hair is because of him). And how much do you love the mosaic printed shirt from Lucian Matis' s/s '13 collection – I'm obsessed.
Some of my tips for Maternity Style:
- Choose fitted silhouettes and show off that baby bump.
- When shopping outside of the maternity department, look for fabrics like light cotton & jersey for a bit of stretch that won't restrict.
- Have fun with accessories you will continue to wear long after the baby is born.
- Don't forget about the 'fourth trimester'. Look for pieces that will facilitate nursing (button down, low neckline) and flatter a post pregnancy tummy (think empire waists and draping).
