[caption id="attachment_1925" align="aligncenter" width="282" caption="Chanel in Breton stripes via The Marion House Book"][/caption] A shopping mandate that I've long tried to adhere to is the "three outfit" rule. Meaning that when I'm in the store trying to decide whether to purchase, I think of three different outfits that the new piece will work with using items that I already own. This helps in avoiding buying clothes that never see the light of day (mostly :). My latest addition- a classic breton type shirt found at the Winners Runway media pre-shop event. Here are the three outfits that lured me into bringing it home.
PS. Mind you, I don't actually own all of these items some are just similar representatives to my stuff.
PPS.Potential hazard: sometimes thinking of the perfect outfit spawns further desires. See dazzling sequined Miu Miu purse in third outfit. Sigh.
